On behalf of Drs Hitasha Rupani, Matthew Coleman from the University Hospital Southampton NHS FT and the Delphi Study steering group please find below an invitation to participate in a study on this topic.

Dear colleague,

We are writing to invite you to participate in a Delphi study looking at the use of asthma biologics in pregnancy. As an established expert in this field, we are keen to gain your views and generate an international expert consensus on the management of these patients.

This Delphi will involve up to three rounds with each round consisting of an online survey. It is envisaged that each survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

The Delphi will cover questions in 5 key areas: care delivery, conception, the initiation of asthma biologic treatments in pregnancy, the continuation of asthma biologic treatments in pregnancy and post-partum care. Below each question is an optional comment box if you wish to provide additional information to support your answer.

Accepted consensus has been set at ≥75% by the Delphi steering group. Statements that do not achieve ≥75% consensus will be reviewed and either removed or modified based on comments received and re-submitted in round 2.

We feel that your expertise would be extremely beneficial to develop a credible consensus in this area.
