Our current membership platform has 2 options for payment:
1. Requires PayPal account | Set up a recurring payment to continue being a MOMS member until you unsubscribe via your membership page on this website or with PayPal directly.
2. Guest PayPal checkout (requires card details) | If you do not wish to have a PayPal account or your PayPal account is not working, there is the option to pay via a “guest check-out” of a one-off payment for a single year which will automatically expire after which you will cease to receive the Obstetric Medicine Journal and be able to access members only content. You can access this by unchecking the box “Would you like to set up automatic renewals?”
To continue your membership, you can always log-in and pay again via the same “join us” form in the future.
Please note that whilst you can use either the email address you register with or username to log in, you cannot change your username after registration, and so we do not recommend using an e-mail address as your username.
We also note that nhs.net have recently updated their spam filter which often deletes our mailing list email without sending them to the junk box (hard bounce) therefore we would advise not using an nhs.net email address.
When you join as a member you will automatically be added to our mailing list. However we have noted that this automatic process transfers the name registered to your PayPal account rather than the name given when you sign up to this website. If there is a discrepency between the name on your PayPal account and the name you sign up to MOMS with, please let us know so we can update your record on the mailing list manually, until we can fix this bug.
